Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated July 18, 2026
You are in control of your data on Sally. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and all data associated with it, including data pulled from connected platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
1. What gets deleted
When you request deletion, I permanently remove:
- Your profile, brand settings, memories, and voice fingerprint.
- Voice recordings, transcripts, stories, drafts, and scheduled posts.
- Uploaded images, PDFs, and other attachments.
- Tokens and metadata for any connected platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok). Posts already published to those platforms remain on the platform itself; you can delete them from within that app.
- Chat history with Sally and any usage analytics tied to your account.
2. Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Sign in at heysally.app.
- Open Settings from the avatar menu in the top right.
- Go to Profile, then tap Delete my account.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and data are removed immediately.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email hello@heysally.app from the address on your Sally account with the subject line "Delete my account". I will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with the Privacy Policy.
4. Just disconnect a platform
If you only want to remove a connected platform (for example, revoke Instagram access) without deleting your Sally account, open Settings, go to Accounts, and tap Disconnect next to the platform. Sally's stored access tokens for that platform are deleted right away.
5. Remove Sally's access from the platform side
You can also revoke Sally from within each platform's own settings:
- Instagram / Facebook: Settings, Apps and Websites, remove "Sally".
- LinkedIn: Settings, Data privacy, Permitted services, remove "Sally".
- TikTok: Settings, Security and permissions, Manage apps, remove "Sally".
6. Contact
Questions about deletion or your data? Email hello@heysally.app.
