Terms of Service
Last updated June 24, 2026
These Terms of Service (the Terms) are a binding agreement between you and Sally (Sally, we, I, us, or our) covering your access to and use of the Sally application, websites, and related services (together, the Service). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are and what Sally does
Sally is a personal brand manager. You share moments by voice or text, and Sally helps draft, schedule, and (where you connect an account) publish posts to the social platforms you connect in a voice that sounds like you. Sally uses artificial intelligence to transcribe your input, generate draft content, and suggest scheduling. You remain the author and owner of your content, and you are responsible for what is published from your accounts.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The Service is intended for individuals managing their own personal brand. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their authorization.
3. AI-generated content and your responsibility
Sally produces drafts and suggestions using AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unintentionally similar to existing content. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before it is published. Where you enable automatic drafting or auto-scheduling, you remain responsible for the content that is posted under your name.
You agree not to use the Service to generate or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, hateful, harassing, or that impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity. You will comply with applicable advertising, disclosure, and transparency rules, including labeling sponsored or AI-assisted content where the relevant platform or law requires it.
4. Connected social accounts
When you connect a third-party account such as the social channels you use, you authorize Sally to access and act on that account only as needed to provide the Service, and only within the permissions you grant. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any platform you connect, including limits on automation and content. You can disconnect an account at any time, which revokes Sally access going forward.
5. Your content and licenses
You retain all ownership of the moments, recordings, text, images, and posts you provide or create through the Service (your Content). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transcribe, transform, and transmit your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to AI and platform providers needed to deliver features you use.
We do not sell your Content. We do not use your private Content to train third-party foundation models, and we do not permit our AI providers to do so where their terms allow us to opt out.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone's rights through the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- use the Service to send spam, run bot networks, or evade platform limits or bans;
- upload malware, or content you do not have the right to share; or
- resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.
7. Plans, trials, and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing, trial length, and included usage (such as voice minutes) are shown at sign-up and may change with notice. Trials may convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time and your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
8. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or email us at hello@heysally.app.
9. AI use, accuracy, and rights
You are responsible for your prompts, the content you input, how you use the outputs, and for verifying their accuracy before relying on or publishing them. You must have the rights to any content you submit, and you must not use the Service to create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or to jailbreak or misuse the underlying models. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for regulated professional advice without your own oversight.
We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts to enforce these Terms. If you believe content generated or shared through the Service infringes your rights, contact us at hello@heysally.app and we will review and act on valid complaints, including consequences for repeated infringement.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the Sally name and marks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an as is and as available basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that AI output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for the acts, policies, or availability of third-party platforms you connect.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
